A bold and faith-filled congregation

A congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), First Presbyterian Church of Oak Ridge, TN, was chartered in 1945. For more than three-quarters of a century, we have:

• gathered to worship God

• grown in faith

• welcomed all who enter our doors

• cared for those who have been cast aside

• enjoyed one another’s fellowship

• served the community of Oak Ridge and the world

We are known for our bold stands on issues such as racial inequality. We embrace environmental stewardship, inclusivity, and social justice. We are an Earth Care Congregation, a Hunger Action Congregation, a Matthew 25 Congregation, and a member of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians.

Blessed with God’s love and grace, we celebrate gifts of diversity. By Jesus Christ’s example, we welcome, in love, all who rejoice and worship with us.
